It will be our first time visiting and we're only going for 2 days but with a park hopper. Which two parks should we visit first? And where should we park our car?

Welcome to the magic of planning your first trip to Walt Disney World Paula! I'm so excited for you and can't wait to help make your visit as smooth and enjoyable as possible. With a Park Hopper ticket, you’ll have the flexibility to experience multiple parks each day, which is a great way to make the most of your time. Let’s dive into the best options for your two day adventure and figure out the ideal places to park along the way!

For your first visit, I’d recommend starting with Magic Kingdom and EPCOT. Magic Kingdom is the heart of Disney, filled with classic attractions, Cinderella's Castle, and that unmistakable Disney magic. EPCOT offers a mix of thrilling rides, cultural experiences, and fantastic food, making it a great complement to your visit!

On your first day, beginning at Magic Kingdom allows you to experience its charm in the morning before hopping to another park in the afternoon. If you love thrill rides and storytelling, Hollywood Studios would be a great second park for rides like Rise of the Resistance and Tower of Terror. On your second day, EPCOT is a great starting point, especially for enjoying Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind and World Showcase before heading to Animal Kingdom later in the day to explore Pandora and experience Flight of Passage.

For parking, if you start at Magic Kingdom, you’ll need to park at the Transportation and Ticket Center (TTC) and take the monorail or ferry to the park. For EPCOT, Hollywood Studios, or Animal Kingdom, you can park directly at the parks. Guests pay one fee for a parking pass that is good all day at all 4 theme parks. Since you have a Park Hopper ticket, once you pay for parking in the morning, you won’t need to pay again when hopping to another park. However, using Disney transportation like the monorail, Skyliner, or buses can often be more convenient than moving your car between parks.

I hope this helps you plan an unforgettable first visit to Walt Disney World, Paula! With so much to see and do, hopping between parks will let you experience a little bit of everything, from classic Disney magic to thrilling adventures. No matter which parks you choose, you’re sure to create incredible memories. Have an amazing time, and if you have any more questions, feel free to reach out to me directly, I’m always happy to help. Enjoy every magical moment, see ya real soon!
