It's a first time visit for our 14 yr old boy and 12 year old girl. What are some suggestions for kids this age. We are scheduled for breakfast at Cinderalla's castle as well as Fanstasmic. Thanks

    Hi, Kara!

My kids are 13 and 10 (kind of close to yours!) so let me give you a list of their "Must Do's" at Walt Disney World:

-Whispering Canyon Café at Wilderness Lodge for dinner
-Chef Mickey's at the Contemporary Resort (breakfast or dinner buffet)
-Renting Sea Raycers at one of the marinas.  We like to go to the Contemporary so we can cruise Bay Lake and the Seven Seas Lagoon.
-Bowling at Splitsville (great rainy day activity)
-Pirates and Pals Fireworks Voyage from the Contemporary
-Resort activities (most are free!)  My kids' favorite is watching a movie under the stars. Check your resort's activity schedule.
    -Shopping at Downtown Disney
-Watching Wishes! Fireworks and the Electric Water Pageant from the Polynesian Beach. Perfect way to relax after a busy day in the parks.
-Sci-Fi Dine-In Theatre at Hollywood Studios for lunch

If any of these ideas sound good to you, let me know and I can give more details! With so much to do, you teen and 'tween are going to be super busy so good luck keeping up with their energy!  Have fun planning your magical vacation.

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the snow and cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is hiking at a National Park, sailing on a Disney Cruise Ship, or going to Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. My husband proposed to me in front of Cinderella Castle and we have not stopped visiting ever since! It's a blast helping guests here at planDisney!
