Welcome back to planDisney, Louisa! I'm so glad you're here with your question.
Disney's Pop Century Resort holds a special place in my heart because this is where my planDisney besties and I often stay when we are meeting to enjoy Walt Disney World together. This resort is also a great choice because you have quick access to EPCOT and Disney's Hollywood Studio via the
Disney Skyliner.
Now Louisa, so you can continue planning, let's dive into your question. You'll have a few great options for dinner once you arrive at Disney's Pop Century Resort.
First, if travel day has been difficult and ease is at the top of your priority list, you'll find lots of
Quick-Service options at
Everything Pop Shopping & Dining. (You'll also find a selection of MagicBands available to purchase in the shopping side of this area.) If you're ready for dinner but would like to stretch your legs first and explore the surrounding property as your hunger builds, you can cross the bridge from Disney's Pop Century Resort to Disney's Art of Animation Resort and enjoy dinner at
Landscape of Flavors. (This option is similar in style to Everything Pop Shopping & Dining.)
Louisa, my next two ideas take you further away from your resort, so please keep that in mind as you're thinking about how you'll feel after a day of travel. I love
Sebastian's Bistro at Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort and believe this is an underrated gem of a restaurant. It's a
quick flight from your hotel on the Disney Skyliner and is priced per person and served "family-style." If you and your traveling party enjoy
Caribbean-inspired dishes, I highly recommend a reservation at Sebastian's Bistro. If you choose this restaurant, make sure to take a quick look at the property map for Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort as you'll have a 5-6 minute walk to the restaurant from the Skyliner station.
Finally, Louisa, if you're in the mood to kick off your vacation with a night out, you can take a complimentary bus from your resort to
Disney Springs where you'll find a plethora of dining options! From Quick-Service favorites like
Chicken Guy to Table-Service restaurants famous for their chef affiliations like
Jaleo by José Andrés or
Chef Art Smith's Homecomin', you'll find something here for every taste and budget. If you choose a Table-Service restaurant at Disney Springs, I highly encourage you to make an advanced reservation through your My Disney Experience account. Before or after dinner, make sure to carve out some shopping time to find that perfect MagicBand!
Louisa, I hope this helps generate some ideas as you're thinking about dinner on your first night at the Most Magical Place on Earth. Please come on back with any additional questions you might have.
Wishing you a pixie-dusted stay,
Lauren
