Hello, first time vacationing at Disney World, we are going from 6/29/15 - 7/3/15. I have 2 girls, 13 & 16, what parks should we visit and any tips for park hoppers? Also are there any great seafood dining that we can check out?

    HI Natasha!
A first trip to the Walt Disney World resort is SO exciting! My family always adds the Park Hopper option to our theme park tickets in order to maintain as much flexibility as possible. If you will have time on arrival and/or departure day to hit a Park I would suggest getting enough days on your Park Hopper to visit a park each day of your visit. With the age of your girls, I would recommend the following order of priority when choosing which Parks to visit (although asking me to choose one park over the other is a bit like asking me to choose between my children!):

    1. Magic Kingdom: it is the heart of the Walt Disney World Resort. For me, no visit is complete without a photo in front of majestic Cinderella Castle.
    2. Disney’s Hollywood Studios: especially if anyone in your family loves a good thrill. The Rock ‘n’ Rollercoaster Starring Aerosmith combined with The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror will make this a day to remember!
    3. Disney’s Animal Kingdom: truly “not just a zoo,” this Park contains two of the most amazing shows I have ever seen- Finding Nemo- The Musical and Festival of the Lion King.
    4. Epcot: it actually hurts my heart to put any of the Parks last. However, with your park hopper option I strongly urge you to have an evening at Epcot in order to experience IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth, Epcots stuffing firework show.

As far as great seafood, Moms Panelist Stacy has some great advice. You can find her suggestions here.

I always recommend first time visitors get in-depth itinerary planning help. A subscription to touringplans.com is worth every penny. If you have more questions, come on back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. We love to help.

    See ya real soon!
