First time using a pass at Disneyland. Do I need a reservation using pass first time

A warm welcome from all of us at planDisney to you, Kevin. We're so glad you're here to share this question with us.

Congratulations on becoming a Magic Key holder! I'm so excited to hear that you are planning to use your Magic Key pass for your first visit very soon. A theme park reservation is required for entrance for each day that you would like to visit the theme parks with your Magic Key pass. You can always reference the Magic Key Calendar for reservation availability for your specific pass. Keep in mind that your Magic Key pass allows you to park hop, so once the clock strikes 11:00 a.m., you can hop between the parks as you wish.

There is a lot of magic in store at the Disneyland Resort for 2024. I love being a Magic Key holder and knowing that I can attend and experience many of the planned events (with a valid theme park reservation). I recently visited this week and ate my way through the Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival. I took advantage of the specially priced Sip and Savor Pass for Magic Key holders to sample as many eats and treats as I could. If you aren't already, be sure to follow @disneylandmagickey on Instagram to stay updated on the latest offerings and announcements.

Kevin, I hope this helps as you get ready to embark on a most magical year. Here's wishing you a successful first visit as a Magic Key holder and many more at the Happiest Place on Earth!
