    Hi, it’s my first time using the dining plan. Is it possible to use a mixture of ingredients dining credits and cash to pay for a meal? Say we wanted to order more than what is covered on the dining credits, could we use them and then pay the difference?

    Welcome back to planDisney! Dining plans are such a great way to pre-pay for all your meals and snacks when in the Parks. Whether you use the Disney Quick-Service Dining Plan or the traditional Disney Dining Plan, you can choose when and how to use your meals and snacks with some limitations. 

    The Disney Quick-Service Dining Plan provides two Quick-Service Meals, 1 drink per meal, and 1 snack or drink per night of your trip. If you wish to buy more snacks or choose not to use a snack from the dining plan to pay for extra cheese and choose to pay out of pocket you can totally do that. The Disney Dining Plan which allows for Table-Service Meals along with Quick-Service Meals can also be "plussed up" for an extra cost if you like. If you wish to purchase an appetizer along with the main course and dessert you would be getting with your dining plan, go for it! Just speak with the Cast Members at the meal that you would like to pay separately. If using Mobile Food & Beverage Ordering you will have the chance to choose what payment option you like-whether it is the dining plan, credit card, or Disney gift card. It's pretty helpful when wanting to use your meals and snacks the way you want to.
