Ahoy there, Amanda! Welcome back to planDisney!
I’d be happy to walk you through the debarkation process and help set your mind at ease! If there’s one thing Disney Cruise Line is great at, it’s setting up organized systems, and debarkation is quite an organized and efficient system!
First off, on the day you embark on your Disney cruise, you will be given
Key to the World Cards for every member of your stateroom. This is your identification card on board, room key card, and payment card, should you like to charge anything to your stateroom. In the upper right-hand corner, there will be two letters: “PA” which means “Port to Airport” indicating that when it’s time to disembark your Disney cruise, you have purchased
Ground Transportation from the port to the airport.
You won’t be assigned to a bus beforehand. On disembarkation morning, after picking up your luggage and going through customs, you will exit to where the transfer buses are located. There will be buses listed as going to the airport. You will be able to board one of them by showing a Cast Member your Key to the World Card. By seeing the letters “PA”, the Cast Members will know that you’re supposed to be on there and headed to the airport. If you need directions along the way, don’t worry, because there are plenty of Disney Cruise Line Cast Members everywhere directing you every step of the way.
As for breakfast, you absolutely do have time to eat an amazing breakfast before you disembark! Disney Cruise Line has really thought of everything, including offering plenty of time for guests to have a delicious breakfast before their travels. The restaurant you have breakfast at will be the same one you had dinner at the night before, and this will all be part of your
Rotational Dining schedule, also given to you on embarkation day in the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator App.
Should you have any questions about disembarkation while on board, there is a “Disembarkation” section in the Disney Cruise Line Navigator App, and a television channel dedicated to helpful disembarkation information that plays on your stateroom television. The day before disembarkation, your stateroom host will have information on your bed guiding you with instructions, as well as new luggage tags to place on your luggage that evening.
Guest Services is also happy to answer any questions regarding disembarkation while on board your cruise.
Amanda, I hope you found clarification in this information. I wish you beautiful and lasting memories made on board your Disney cruise. Please sail back here if you have any other questions.
