Hello, first time traveling to Disney with my 2 1/2 year old daughter who cannot wait to go. I think we are going to do the Magic Kingdom any recommendations on where to stay and what the best things to take advantage of would be?

Hi Clorinda!  You must be so excited for your upcoming trip!  Ultimately, where you stay depends on how much you want to spend for your room.  All of the Disney resorts have transportation to all the parks, including Magic Kingdom.  If you are trying to determine what resorts would be most convenient to Magic Kingdom, you can check out any of the resorts located on the monorail - the Contemporary, Bay Lake Tower, Polynesian and the Grand Floridian.  Not too far away, you can also check out Wilderness Lodge which is a relaxing and quick boat ride away.

Your daughter is going to love Fantasyland!  There is so much she will be able to enjoy there including the new Enchanted Tales with Belle and Under the Sea - Journey of the Little Mermaid.  I would suggest you try and get through these attractions early as they are very popular and lines can get long throughout the day.  You can find a list of all the attractions in Magic Kingdom here.  Once you click on the Attractions link, you can select filters to narrow down your must-dos.

I hope your first vacation at Walt Disney World is truly magical!  Diane
