    First time travelers to Disney in Florida last week of July 2011- attending conference at Dolphin resort but with 4 adults and 2 kids -desire resort with kitchen- stove and refrigerator yet easily accessible to Dophin resort -please help with choices.

    Given your list of requirements, I definitely recommend staying in a 1 bedroom Disney Deluxe Villa at either the Beach Club or the Boardwalk.  A 1 bedroom Disney Deluxe Villa is basically a Disney Vacation Club unit, but they are available to non-club members.  Between the two, my favorite is the Beach Club because of Stormalong Bay, easily the best pool on Walt Disney World property.  It's actually a sand bottom pool and children of all ages absolutely love it.

    Both the Beach Club and the Boardwalk are within easy walking distance of the Dolphin hotel; it takes about 10 minutes, depending on how slow or fast you walk.  There's also a boat that stops at all three, as well as Epcot and Disney's Hollywood Studios.
