We are first time travelers on your Disney cruise May 19-24 from San Diego to Vancouver. The itinerary shows a 8am disembarkation on our final day. Will we really be off the ship by then? I am trying to schedule our return flight home for the four of us.

    Hi, Jill!

Thanks for visiting me with the question about your upcoming Disney Cruise Line voyage. I bet you’re looking forward to sailing the high seas in just a few short months!

Generally speaking, your breakfast seating and time of disembarkation from the ship on your final day depends on whether you’re part of the early or late dinner seating. The early folks typically eat and leave the ship first (sometimes as early as 7:30 a.m.), and on all of the Disney Cruise Line sailings I’ve experienced, we were off the ship no later than 9:00 a.m. as a part of the later crowd. Disney Cruise Line recommends that you book return flights no earlier than 12:30 p.m. to allow time to travel to the airport and go through the required security procedures.

I hope this helps, Jill, and that your family enjoys a perfectly pixie-dusted cruise! Please visit us again with any other planning questions you may have.

    Wishing you magic,
    Courtney
