    Hi, It will be our first time time going WDW :) , and I wanted to know if its best to get there on a weekday or a weekend? We are planning to be there for 7days.

    Hi Karina:

    When asking what day of the week is best to arrive at Disney World, there are seven different correct answers.  From my perspective, the day of the week of your arrival does not seem to make much of a difference as much as time of year when you travel to Disney World.  For example, Disney World tends to be more crowded when schools are out of session, like vacation breaks and during the summer vacation months. Once you decide on the time of year to travel, the arrival day of the week has never made much of a difference to my family, especially if you are able to spend seven days at Disney World.

    Since my family tends not to hit the Parks on our arrival day, for my family, it makes sense to arrive on a weekend when the Parks may be very slightly more crowded with local families.  By spending arrival day relaxing by the Resort pool, we may miss some of the locals who may be spending the weekend in the Parks.  But again,my family really only notices crowds during vacation season as opposed to specific days of the week.
