Hi it's my first time it's time traveling to Orlando Florida I will love More information like Hotel, and Resources. And things to do!

    Hello Griselda,

How fun to hear you're headed to the Walt Disney World Resort!

There's nothing quite as memorable as your first Walt Disney World Resort vacation. I have so many fond memories of my first trip to "The Most Magical Place on Earth," and that trip was 46 years ago!

One of the first to-do items on your planning list will likely be thinking about where to stay when you visit the Walt Disney World Resort. You can start by checking out all the wonderful possibilities with the Disney Resorts Collection where you can "Stay in the Magic." The Disney Resorts Collection offers more than two dozen Resorts featuring Resort hotel rooms, family suites, and deluxe villas. You're sure to see an option for your Resort stay to match just about every vacation vibe and vacation budget.

What's the best way to find your perfect fit for a place to stay? I suggest taking a look at the list of Resorts and using the "Filter By" features to look at different locations, categories, and unique characteristics. Do you want to stay in close proximity to one of the theme parks? Do you have a budget in mind? Are you drawn more to Disney Story Rooms that showcase favorite Disney characters? You can play around with these options and more to explore the Resorts.

Of course, Walt Disney World is big. With its four theme parks, two water parks, and all its Resort hotels and Deluxe Villas, there's a lot of ground to cover. Add to that the shopping, dining, and entertainment districts of Disney Springs and Disney's Boardwalk, and you have so many choices for what you can see, do, and enjoy. You can use the interactive maps and the map filters to get a great overview of where you can find all this magic that awaits you.

A great place to begin planning your theme park visits is the Tickets & Visit Guide. You'll get useful information for buying your theme park tickets and getting to know the theme parks a bit better. Be sure to purchase your theme park tickets and make your Disney Park Pass system reservations after checking the Theme Park Reservation Availability calendar.

Griselda, it looks like you're arriving just in time to experience the EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival. If it works for your schedule, you should make some plans to stroll around the Festival to sample and savor all the delicious offerings. You'll also be visiting for "The World’s Most Magical Celebration" to mark the 50th anniversary of Walt Disney World.

Griselda, here's wishing you a wonderful and memorable first visit to the Walt Disney World Resort!

Meet the Panelist: Jerry, Pennsylvania

The playful and creative optimism of all things Disney has enthralled me since I was a kid. I loved watching "The Wonderful World of Disney" on Sunday nights, seeing all the live-action and animated classics in theaters, and — of course — visiting "The Most Magical Place on Earth" for the first time 45 years ago. These days, the big kid in me still loves to play Disney. As a long-time Disney destinations vacationer, I'm looking forward to helping you play Disney starting here at planDisney!
