Hello, Azucena! Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel and asking your question!
We took our daughter to the Walt Disney World Resort for the first time when she was 1-year-old, so I have lots of tips! One thing I didn't learn until a few days into our trip was to plan ample time for naps and to let her explore things at her own pace. We were so used to visiting the parks from opening to close with a go-go-go mentality that we didn't provide enough time to let our little one decompress. Now, we head back to the hotel each afternoon to nap, swim, or to let her explore the hotel grounds and lobbies.
In addition to having plenty of diapers and wipes, I would pack lots of extra changes of clothes. Not only will you need them for the occasional diaper mishap, but we changed our daughter's clothes often due to rain, playing in a splash pad like
Casey Jr. Splash 'N' Soak Station, and even the occasional Mickey premium ice cream bar that melted faster than she could eat it. Also, you will want to bring along your own sippy cups plus a small bottle of dish soap and a brush to clean them in your room. If you do run out of anything while you are in the parks, the
Baby Care Centers have you covered! They sell all sorts of baby essentials while also providing comfortable and quiet places to change diapers and rock children to sleep.
Finally, if you are staying at a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel, leave your pack n' play at home. You can request one to be added to your room at no additional charge. When we visited, they even provided two sets of pack n' play sheets for our stay.
I'd love to continue to offer you advice for traveling with little ones, so please stop by again with any other questions you may have!
