Hello, this will be my first time taking my 2 daughters (6 and 3) to Disney World. I'm a little overwhelmed with all the options I'm seeing around. I have a few questions: - What the best time to visit the parks in November/December to avoid the crowds?

    Hi Marcia!

Thank you for visiting the Moms Panel!

It is very exciting planning a first trip to Walt Disney World!  It also can be overwhelming, and you are starting at the best place - when to visit.

In November, you may wish to avoid visiting while the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival is on (September 28th-November 12th), but after that finishes, up until Thanksgiving Week, the crowds will drop considerably.  Then, after Thanksgiving Week, up until Christmas Week, the crowds will also usually be low, and that is a wonderful time to visit, with all the Christmas decorations and the atmosphere of the season.  I was at Walt Disney World in early December last year and it was a very comfortable time to be there - the weather was good too (but please remember it can also be much colder).

If you have any other questions, please come back and ask me - I would be happy to help you plan your magical first Disney vacation!
