Hiya Kate,
Welcome to planDisney! There are so many fun ways to travel around Walt Disney World Resort, including the iconic monorail and the Disney Skyliner.
Walt Disney World Water Transportation is one of the most relaxing ways to travel, and you can get to Disney Springs from four resort hotels (Disney’s Old Key West Resort, Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa, Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – Riverside, and Disney’s Port Orleans – French Quarter.
Currently, none of the complimentary bus transportation options will take you from Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort to one of the resorts on the Disney Springs water taxi route. If you wanted to take a bus, you would have to take it from one of the Theme Parks to the resort and then catch the water taxi. If you want a more direct route, I highly recommend the
Disney Minnie Van Service connected by Lyft! It is the only way to get from one Walt Disney World Resort Collection Hotel to the other. While you use the Lyft service to reserve your ride, the Minnie Van’s are driven by Cast Members. These Disney-owned and operated vehicles are my favorite way to get around Walt Disney World Resort. I love hearing all the tips from the Cast Members on my trip, listening to Disney music, and the overall magical experience. Plus, if you have little ones, each Minnie Van comes equipped with two car seats that can be installed if you need them!
I hope this was helpful, Kate. Before I let you go, don’t forget to stop off at
Gideon’s Bakehouse at Disney Springs. Those massive cookies are a favorite amongst us panelists, and once you try one, you will see why. Please come back and see us if you need anything else.
Happy Planning,
Ashley F.
