Hi Kelly! Welcome to planDisney, and thank you so much for bringing us your question.

How exciting that you're considering becoming a Walt Disney World Annual Passholder for the very first time! Having an Annual Pass can completely change the way you experience Walt Disney World, especially when you have the opportunity to visit multiple times throughout the year.

One important thing to know is that an Annual Pass is valid only for the individual Annual Passholder. Purchasing an Annual Pass for yourself would not include admission for your children, so each member of your family who is 3 years old or older will need their own valid theme park admission every time they visit.

Since all three of your children are over the age of 3, you'll need to purchase a separate Annual Pass for each child if you'd like all four of you to become Annual Passholders. Your 4-year-old and 7-year-old will be eligible for Annual Passes priced for children ages 3 through 9, while your 12-year-old will need an adult-priced Annual Pass, since Walt Disney World considers Guests ages 10 and older adults for ticketing purposes.

In other words, if you want your entire family to have Annual Passes, you would be purchasing four individual passes. One for you and one for each of your three children.

As far as payment plans go, availability depends on the type of Annual Pass you're purchasing and your residency. For example, monthly payment options are generally associated with Annual Passes purchased by eligible Florida residents, so I recommend carefully reviewing the payment options available to you when you're ready to purchase.

I would also take a moment to compare the total cost of Annual Passes with the number of park days you realistically expect your family to enjoy over the next year. Depending on how often you're planning to visit, becoming an Annual Passholder family can make a lot of sense!

Kelly, I hope this clears things up as you start exploring your options. Hopefully, this is the beginning of a year filled with lots of Disney days for your family!

    Warm hugs,

    Ana Paula
