Hello, this is my first time planning a trip for my family here and I just don't know where to start! Do we need a rental to get around to the parks? Where can I find great deals?

    Hi Herisha!

Planning your 1st visit can be overwhelming, please know that Disney Parks Moms Panel is always just a click away!Walt Disney World offers complimentary transportation within the resort and the Monorail, is one of my favorite attractions at Walt Disney World. If you will be staying on property renting a car is not necessary, but some guests prefer the luxury of having their own transportation as opposed to the wait time of Disney's Transportation.

First thing you will want to decide is,"When should I go?"Sounds easy doesn't it, but Walt Disney World has so many wonderful events throughout the year it can be a tough decision. Many favorite time of year is October through December, the different holiday decorations and special events are magical this time of year .Visiting during Disney's Value Season will offer smaller crowds, lower room rates and some fantastic special offers.Typically January, late August and September is considered Value Season.Anytime there is a school break or major holiday,is when the parks will be most crowded and rates will be much higher.

Once you have decided when to go, deciding on a budget which will help you determine where your going to stay, how long to stay and other important components such as Disney's Dining Plan which can also help save you money.Speaking of saving money,Disney has many Special Offers available throughout the year that can help stretch your budget.By planning early you can keep an eye out for any offers that may become available for your dates of stay. Also, keep in mind that you can apply any special offer that you are eligible for even after you have booked your reservation.

I have lots of great tips for planning your first vacation, but just not quite the room to write them all here. Please visit me again for more tips on planning your Walt Disney World vacation.

    Happy Planning!
