Hi Dianita,
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I do believe I just saw Mickey and Minnie Mouse exchange a hi-five when they heard you are planning your first visit to the Walt Disney World Resort!
Since your girls are young and you want to be close to the parks, I suggest that you book a resort with access to the
Resort Monorail. My family loves staying at
Disney's Contemporary Resort because we can just hop on the monorail from the main building. We also love having the option of walking to Magic Kingdom from the resort.
Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa is also quite lovely. The grounds are gorgeous, the pool is serene and we adore
1900 Park Fare. My girls were stunned to meet Cinderella and Prince Charming at Cinderella's Happily Ever After dinner. One of them lost the ability to speak when Prince Charming danced with her.
The third resort on the monorail line includes
Disney's Polynesian Villas & Bungalows. While the Polynesian does not have as many room options for your party size, the resort does have a childcare area for children ages 3-12.
Lilo's Playhouse is an adventure!
Although the resorts on the monorail provide the best access to Magic Kingdom and Epcot, Disney's Beach Club and Yacht Club resorts both are within walking distance to Epcot.
Magical planning!
