This will be our first time planning a trip to Disney what time of year would you recommend - weather and value wise?

    Hi Sarah!

This is a great question. First let me say that any time of the year is a great time to go to Walt Disney World. However, my favorite time of year to go is the first two weeks of December. The weather is nice and cool, the crowds are low to moderate, and the parks and resorts are beautifully decorated. There are also lots of special holiday activities going on such as Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, the Candlelight Processional, and the Spectacle of Dancing Lights. All three are fabulous!

After that I would recommend going in October. The weather can still be warm, but the crowds are again low to moderate. The Epcot International Food and Wine Festival will be in full swing and there is Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party on select nights.

I hope this helps. Please write back with more questions.
