Hiya! Welcome to planDisney, and thanks for sharing your question with us!
I’m so excited that you’ll be visiting the Vacation Kingdom of the World for the first time next year! There is so much to see and do, I’m sure everyone in your travel party will have a wonderful experience. Let’s take a look at some of the different factors that will influence the cost of your vacation.
Everyone’s vacations differently, so it’s difficult to estimate what your adventure might cost, but I’ve found that 3 main things will drive the cost of your Walt Disney World vacation. One is the category of Walt Disney World Resort hotel you’d like to stay at, another is tickets, and the third is extras and options.
There are four categories of hotels at Walt Disney World: value, moderate, deluxe, and deluxe villa. Each category has its benefits and offers a different experience, but generally speaking, the value resort rooms have the lowest prices, moderate resorts are in the middle, and deluxe resorts cost the most. You can review all the Walt Disney World
hotels here and sort by category type.
Then there are the theme park tickets to consider. The cost of tickets fluctuates throughout the year and depends on the number of days you plan to visit. There are also special offers, such as the 4-Park Magic Ticket, that can reduce your ticket costs, or ticket options, such as Park Hoppers, that have an extra cost. Talk with your travel party about their vacation expectations before purchasing tickets, so you can buy what works for your group. You can find ticket information
here.
Then there are the extras and add-ons. Things like
Lightning Lane Passes, the Disney Dining Plan, and Enchanting Extras like Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique are popular add-ons to a lot of guests’ vacations, but are certainly not required. Again, I would chat with your group about their priorities and decide which things will add to the magic of your vacation.
As you consider what you’d like your Walt Disney World vacation to look like, be sure to check out the
Special Offers page for all the latest deals on hotels, tickets, and vacation packages. And if you need any assistance in making your reservations, don’t hesitate to call the
Tickets and Hotel Reservations line to speak with a friendly Cast Member.
I hope this information helps kick-start your vacation planning. Pop right back if you have more questions. Your planDisney pals are here to help!
Magical travels!
