Hello this is my first time planning Disney; when getting tickets I hit park hopper when we are only doing one park a day. I did pay, how do I fix that?

Hey there, Kristian! Welcome to planDisney!

I’m excited that I get to help you plan your first visit to The Walt Disney World Resort. Be sure to grab a Celebration Button when you enter the Theme Parks - or your Disney Resorts Collection hotel if you are staying on property - and let the Cast Member know that you are a first-time visitor. You never know what special magic these buttons can bring your way!

Don’t let this slight mishap put a damper on your Disney Vacation! I recommend calling (407) 934-7639 and speaking with an Existing Tickets Cast Member to explain your situation. Since Theme Park tickets are non-refundable, downgrades are not always guaranteed. However, the Cast Member will explain your options to you.

If ticket downgrades are not an option, Park Hopping is a great option to get “stuck” with. Hey, you could’ve been stuck with that Sadness character from Inside Out! I really liked Sadness, but she really knew how to bring down the mood. Anywho, with Park Hopper tickets you’ll be able to enter multiple parks on the same day, maximizing the Disney Magic you get to experience! Park Hopper privileges also give you the option to experience your favorite Theme Parks multiple times. On our first trip to Disney World, my family found out very quickly that we enjoyed Disney’s Animal Kingdom Park and EPCOT’s various Festivals. So, we spent most of our days hopping back to Disney’s Animal Kingdom for another trek on Kilimanjaro Safaris or to EPCOT to munch on a new snack around the world! Either way, you’ll be at Disney World, where snacks are king and magic is plentiful!

I hope this helps, Kristian! The magic awaits!
