This will be our very first time to plan a vacation with our kids, we need help with the planning process.

    Hey there Jose!

Thank you for submitting your question today and welcome to planDisney! I am honoured that you came to us during your planning process and I am thrilled to be helping you plan your very first Disney vacation with your kids. The planning process can be a little intimidating at first, but we're in this together! You and me, we're in a club now!

Let's start with places to stay. For your first visit with your kids, I would highly recommend staying at one of Disney's Resort Hotels as they allow you to stay in the Disney magic throughout your stay. With magically themed decor, free transportation to and from the parks and the next-level guest service that Cast Members provide, staying at a Disney Resort Hotel brings the magic of the parks all the way back to your room. Since you are travelling with children, I would highly recommend looking into some of the themed resorts like Disney's Art of Animation Resort or Disney's Pop Century Resort. They both have impressive decors that your children will love and the magical feeling that only a Disney Resort can give you. Wouldn't you like to wake up Under The Sea with The Little Mermaid?

Now let's talk about the theme parks! You will need to purchase theme park tickets in addition to making theme park reservations. You can either visit one park per day or select the Park Hopper Option and have the ability to visit multiple parks in one day. When purchasing your tickets, you can also look into the Disney Genie+ option which allows you to choose an available arrival window instead of waiting in line. However, you can also simply wait until your vacation to purchase it through the My Disney Experience Mobile App.

Speaking of which, my number one recommendation for planning your Disney vacation would be to download the My Disney Experience Mobile App on your iPhone, iPad or Android smartphone. The mobile app makes your My Disney Experience easily accessible and allows you to link your resort, park and dining reservations so you can see all of your plans in one place! It even allows you to place mobile food orders and skip the lines, make last-minute dining reservations and check on wait times.

I hope this was helpful, Jose, and that you can start planning your magical vacation real soon! Don't hesitate to reach out if you have any more questions and I cannot wait for you and your family to make memories that will last a lifetime. See you real soon at the Walt Disney World Resort and have a magical day!
