This is our first time! We have park hopper and the goal is to park at Magic Kingdom but start our park hopping journey at Hollywood Springs close to rope drop. What’s the fastest way to make it to HS from MK parking?

    Hi Adriana,

I am so excited for your first visit to Walt Disney World. It truly is the most magical place on earth! To make the most out of your park hopping experience, download the My Disney Experience App and familiarize yourself with it before your visit. In the app, you will have access to view routes and stop locations for every transportation option available at Disney World. This is super useful because you can see bus times and find the easiest routes from one place to the next so you don't spend your day waiting on busses or going out of your way to get somewhere.

You have already planned to park at Magic Kingdom but what most people don't know is that you will actually park at Disney's Transportation and Ticket Center. To get from the parking lot to Magic Kingdom you must take a monorail or ferry. When you arrive at the Transportation and Ticket Center, instead of going through the ticketing gates and hopping on the monorail or ferry turn to your left and take the walkway over to the Polynesian Village Resort. There will be signs along the pathway pointing you to the bus station for Disney's Polynesian Village Resort. Head over to the bus station and grab a bus that goes directly to Hollywood Studios! Bus service will begin 60 minutes before the theme park opens so you will have plenty of time to make it there for rope drop. It is a super short walk over to this bus station and I have found this to be the quickest route to Hollywood Studios.

Since you will be park hopping and looking to maximize your day, I would also consider adding Genie+ or purchasing Individual Lightning Lanes for some of the most popular rides that are on your must-do list! Both services allow you to bypass the standby line by utilizing the Lightning Lane entrance which will cut down your wait time significantly and allow you to cram as much action as possible into one day!

    Happy Planning
