Hi Ericka,
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! How exciting to plan a first trip with your little one!
The happy news is that your princess can waltz through a variety of Walt Disney World Resort Hotels for two magical days. If budget is a concern, I suggest that you consider a
value or
moderate resort hotel. I adore Disney's Pop Century Resort and Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside. The Royal Guest Rooms at Disney's Port Orleans - Riverside might be perfect for your princess!
Although I love any of the resort hotels, my family prefers
deluxe and deluxe villa resort hotels. Our favorites are Disney's Polynesian Village Resort, Disney's Contemporary Resort and Disney's BoardWalk Inn. Disney's Contemporary Resort is within walking distance to Magic Kingdom. Disney's Contemporary Resort Hotel and Disney's Polynesian Village Resort have access to the resort monorail that provides guests access to Magic Kingdom and Epcot. When we stayed at Disney's BoardWalk Inn, we loved the easy walk to Epcot. The restaurants at these resort hotels are amazing. We always dine with our favorite characters at Chef Mickey's and we adore dinner during the Happily Ever Fireworks at 'Ohana.
As you consider your resort hotel, I suggest that you book a vacation package with theme park tickets and a dining plan. With just two days, I would take her to Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom. Our girls still stare in wonder at the animals at Disney's Animal Kingdom!
Ericka, know that many princesses come dressed in their royal attire. When our girls were younger, we brought dresses and tiaras with us. Be sure to make dining reservations!
Magic, memories and Minnie Mouse hugs,
Donyell
