First time going to MNSSHP ....... what time to you recommend getting to MK? Staying at POFQ so I want to plan my timeline accordingly :) Any other hints/suggestions of what not to miss? We are all dressing in our Capt Jack gear. Thanks for the help!

    Hi Adelle!

I could talk about how much I love Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party for a long time! My son and I went to Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party for the first time last October and we both instantly fell in love with it! Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party is a hard ticket event (guests have to buy a special ticket to attend this event) usually held on select nights in September and October at the Magic Kingdom. There are special shows like Disney's Villains Mix & Mingle (a show with a villains meet & greet afterwards ), character dance parties, an amazing Halloween Parade (Mickey's Boo-to-You Halloween Parade), an incredible fireworks show (Happy HalloWishes), and Trick or Treating throughout the Magic Kingdom. Also kids and adults can come in costume so it is very cool that you all are dressing up in Captain Jack gear!  This awesome party officially starts at 7:00 pm so I would recommend leaving Port Orleans French Quarter about an hour before the party is scheduled to begin if you are using Disney buses to get there.

It is totally worth it to attend Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party especially if you have never been to one before. After being there once, my son and I definitely want to do it again!

I hope you have a howling good time at Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party!

    Keep Dreaming Big!
