Hello, I will be going for the first time to Magic Kingdom since the new park opening. Is it possible to be at rope drop for Frontierland and see the welcome show ? If so, which entrance do you recommend ? We will be heading to splash mountain first thing

Hey there, Caroline! We’re glad to see you back at the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Thanks for allowing us to join you in your planning efforts as you prepare for a most magical visit to the Walt Disney World Resort.

Caroline, there’s no better way to start a day than with a magical proclamation and invitation to enjoy the most magical place on earth!  Let the Magic Begin, the new park opening show at Magic Kingdom, is a five-minute ceremony inviting guests to fully immerse themselves in the magic and wonder as they enter the world of yesterday, tomorrow, and fantasy. Because this new show happens in front of Cinderella Castle, if you stand on Main Street, U.S.A., close to the Adventureland entrance by the hub, you will definitely be able to enjoy it and once it’s done swiftly make your way to Splash Mountain!

Be sure to note the park hours as you plan. Keep an eye for morning Extra Magic Hours as on those days the show will begin one hour early. If you are a guest at one of the magnificent resort hotels on property, be sure to take advantage of this window of time at the parks with fewer guests.

I hope you have a most magical day! Be sure to come back again and see if for any additional questions, tips, or advice about your upcoming visit.

    See ya real soon!
