We are going for the first time the last week of May with 2 yr.& 6 yr old girls. We are staying in the nemo suite at AOA! What type of itinery should we do? What is the weather usually like during this time?

I bet your girls are going to love the Nemo themed rooms at Disney's Art of Animation Resort, Nicole!  You must be so excited.  As for your itinerary, I would suggest taking it fairly easy with little ones.  When my kids were younger, midday breaks for naps or quiet time were absolutely necessary.  I would recommend scheduling early morning park days followed by an afternoon rest.  You can certainly head back to the park in the evening to catch a parade and have dinner.  Just make sure you leave plenty of time for sleep in your itinerary.  With regard to the weather in May, you should expect warm days with highs averaging close to ninety degrees.  Lows in the evening are in the upper sixties.  Rainfall in May averages right around three inches.  Enjoy your trip!

Given your inclination to plan a magical trip, I can already tell we have a lot in common. I'm Darcie, and my friends would be the first to tell you that Disney trip planning (especially dining!) is my love language. Of course, the vacations my family enjoys today look much different than they did when our kids were little, but while some of our favorite activities have evolved, Disney destinations still top our travel wish lists. Let's work together to plan a downright dreamy vacation for your family! Learn More About Darcie
