    This is my first time and would like to know if I should take a stroller for my 3 year old daughter and what should it be? Is there places in the rides where you could leave the stroller while your in the rides?

    Your first time to WDW is sure to be a magical adventure. However, WDW is twice the size of Manhattan and parents should be prepared with a game plan. A stroller is a necessity for a young child.

    Since your family lives in Florida, I would bring your lightest, collapsible stroller in which you know your child will be comfortable. Some of the most tiring times of your day will be in the early morning hours when heading from your hotel to the park and when departing a park in the evening. I could not imagine traipsing back to our hotel at the end of a long day without a stroller. Of course, this was much easier to accomplish when we had our own vehicle and were at the umbrella stroller age.

    Waiting for buses at WDW is another time when parents and kids are tired and losing patience. If a child can rest in a stroller, it makes your transportation time a little easier! I highly recommend using your own vehicle to drive to the parks. We almost always use our own car when we drive to Florida or rent a car for easy transportation in WDW. It is much easier at the end of the day to put a sleepy child in a car rather than wait in a sometimes chaotic bus queue.

    You will find Stroller Parking locations all throughout the parks. In the front of each attraction, there will be a designated area to leave your stroller. We used to tie a colorful silk scarf to our stroller to make it stand out from the sea of strollers. Don’t panic if your stroller is not in the same place that you left it. Sometimes the Cast Member rearrange them while you are in an attraction in order to keep the area organized. Being able to quickly spot your own stroller makes these situations less stressful.
