Hi Wendy!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
I am so excited to see you are visiting Walt Disney World for the first time, and from the UK too (same as me!). Please come back and ask us any questions about your visit - we are always happy to help! I love using the shampoo and conditioner supplied to the Guest rooms. It is the same across all the Resort hotels, and they sell more products of the whole range in the Resort gift shops for you to take home with you! It is the H20+ Beauty Sea Marine Revitalizing Shampoo and Conditioner, and it is a real treat to use. I never bring my own shampoo with me because I love it!
As for the security lines at the parks - it will depend on when you arrive there - for park opening, or just prior to a special event such as
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party the queues may be longer, but generally I have never waited more than around ten minutes. If you are particularly short of time I recommend that you avoid any lines with lots of strollers, simply because they have to be checked over too. The security staff is very efficient, and they do a great job, but they never keep you waiting longer than is necessary. I always suggest leaving plenty of time to travel to a dining reservation to ensure you don't miss your booking. If you are using
Disney Transport from
Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort to one of the theme parks, it is recommended that you allow 60-90 minutes travelling time. From your Resort hotel you have the use of Disney Buses or the brand new
Disney Skyliner (if you are going to Epcot or Disney's Hollywood Studios), which is set to make it's debut on September 29th!
Please come back and visit us, and keep your eye on the
Disney Parks Blog for all the latest official updates and news on any events that may be happening during your stay.
