Hi, this is the first time that my family will be visiting WDW. We are going to be staying at the Fort Wilderness Resort. I was wondering if you have any feedback on this resort? And also, which park should we start with. Thanks, we are so excited!

    Howdy Diana!

Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground is one of my favorites at Walt Disney World!  It is so quiet and serene there, you almost forget you are on vacation at Disney.  There are so many fun activities to do, I often just stay at the resort without visiting the parks.  Do not miss Chip'n Dale's Campfire Sing-a-long where you can roast marshmallows and sing,  Afterwards, stay for the movie under the stars.  Be sure to grab a spot on the beach to see the Electrical Water Parade.  Bring your swim suits and take a dip in the pool.  Take a scenic horse drawn wagon ride with the whole family.  Make dining reservations for Hoop Dee Do Musical Revue for a lively dinner show.  There are so many options!

One of the best amenities is that you can take a ferry boat from the marina right to the front gates of the Magic Kingdom!  Depending on how many days you will be visiting, I think you should start off with a bang and visit Magic Kingdom first.  If you have extra days, end with Magic Kingdom too.

Pick up 1st Visit buttons when you check in  as well!

    Have a magical day!
