This is our first time our family is traveling to Disneyland. We have 1day park hopper passes. Do I need to buy tickets for a 2 yr old and a 4 yr old? What are the best activities suited for a 2 & 4 yr old? Are they located close to each other?

    Hello Elizabeth!

Thank you for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I hope you are having a magical week.

Children under 3 years of age do not need their own ticket. They are welcome to enter the parks with an adult with a valid Disneyland Resor Theme Park Ticket. There is so much to do for little ones at both Disneyland Park and Disney’s California Adventure Park! You can do a quick search on the website for preschool age kids and it will show you all of the appropriate attractions Disneyland Resort has to offer. My boy’s favorite ride is still Peter Pan’s Flight, even though they are now older kids.

The two parks are located right across from each other with a walkway separating the two entrance areas. Downtown Disney District is located in the same area as well so everything is a quick walk to get anywhere! I hope this helps and please let me know if you need anything else as you plan your visit!

    See you real soon!
