This will be the first time my family of 4 (kids ages: 5 & 8) have been to the Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom. What do you recommend for rides that we would all be able to ride together? Also, any specific things that are MUST DO's for a first time

    Greetings Melissa!

How exciting! Your family is in for so many magical surprises during your First Visit. It is going to be incredible. Magic Kingdom Park and Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park have several of our favorite attractions and "must do" experiences, so I will give you just a couple you will definitely not want to miss!

    Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park:
If you like to start with a meal, Donald's Dining Safari at the Tusker House Restaurant is one of our all time favorite Character Dining experiences. After eating our fill and saying hello to a few of our favorite friends, we hop aboard the Wildlife Express Train for a trip to Rafiki's Planet Watch. Next, we head to Asia for Kali River Rapids. (This might be my 3-year-old's favorite ride!) After a thrilling and wet ride, we dry off with a snack and venture to Finding Nemo The Musical. This Broadway style show is phenomenal. After, we let the kids burn off some energy at The Boneyard in DinoLand, U.S.A., get some lunch at Pizzafari and make it full circle for a late afternoon ride on Kilimanjaro Safaris. We find the animals tend to be the most active later in the day when they are hungry for dinner.

    Magic Kingdom Park:
Although there are great Table-Service restaurants, we really like to graze on the delicious Quick-Service locations this park has to offer. I love starting my day with a gooey cinnamon roll from Gaston's Tavern or a fresh fruit and Nutella waffle sandwich from Sleepy Hollow. Favorite rides include: Splash Mountain, Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin, and the Jungle Cruise (but really, there are so many!) A definite must-do is a visit to meet Mickey Mouse at Town Square Theater. No trip is complete without a hug from the main mouse himself.

Have a wonderful visit, Melissa. Please let us know if there is anything else we can assist you with.

    Magical Wishes, Lauren
