Hi. Is the first time me and my family (husband and 4 year old son) are going to Disney World. We are planning to go in August; how can I find out what days fireworks and parades are happening in that month? I want to take advantage of everything

Hey there, Monica and thanks for your question!  I'll bet your getting so excited about your first trip to Walt Disney World!

One of my favorite resources for Disney fireworks and parade schedules in a non-Disney operated site  By searching this site you'll be able to find parade and fireworks schedules for each month, but please note that they are released 180 days in advance.  The site currently only has the schedules up to July 2012 posted.

The schedules are a great source of information, as they also contain park hours, Extra Magic Hours, and special events in addition to parades and fireworks!  If you scroll down below the schedule, you will find lots of great information on each parade and fireworks show!

Please be sure to check back next month, as the schedule for August will be posted at that time!

I am so happy you have found us here at the Moms Panel and encourage you to let us know if we can be of further assistance in the planning of your first magical Walt Disney World vacation.
