Let me begin by saying that I love hearing from a guest named Diane from Texas. This could very well be me as I am Diane from Texas, too. Anyways, welcome to the Moms Panel!
I completely understand your dilemma. Trying to put together a Walt Disney World vacation for the very first, second or third time can prove to be quite frustrating. My suggestion would be to call
(407)939-7675 and allowing a Cast Member to walk you through the entire process. Cast Members are the most knowledgeable when it comes to saving you money. They are the most up-to-date on any specials that are out there and will gladly share those deals with you if they are available.
Here are some tips that you can ask about as a Cast Member is putting together a package for you:
- Ask about staying at a Disney Value Resort. I simply love these resorts for small children!
- Take advantage of the Disney Dining Plan. These meal plans will save you lots of money. Trust me on this.
- I would not recommend adding the Park Hopper Option to your tickets since this is your very first visit. Enjoy each park to its fullest by devoting an entire day to the park.
Please, please, please call the above number and allow a Cast Member to put your Walt Disney World package together. He/She will give you all the time you need and answer any questions you may have as you are building your package. I once spent approximately one hour on the phone with a Cast Member who was assisting me with building a most MAGICAL vacation.
