Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Traci!
I'm thrilled to hEAR about your family's first visit – when the festive Christmas season gets gift wrapped in Disney magic for the
Holidays at Walt Disney World Resort.
The majestic Candlelight Processional, which is part of the
Epcot® International Festival of the Holidays, is the perfect way to celebrate the magic of the season. This heartwarming and awe-inspiriting experience will get your family into the holiday spirit. Book a Candlelight Processional Dining Package to guarantee seating for the show without waiting in line!
Special holiday dining will be offered at many of the Disney Resort hotels. However, we don't currently have information regarding this year's offerings at the resorts. Keep your eyes on the
Disney Parks Blog for further announcements about special holiday dining. I suggest booking reservations for California Grill at Disney's Contemporary Resort. This restaurant offers some truly breathtaking panoramic views of Magic Kingdom Park.
I recommend adding the Park Hopper Option to your 2-Day Tickets. This will allow your family to visit two or more theme parks each day. For example, you could visit Magic Kingdom Park one morning, then head to Disney's Hollywood Studios in the afternoon to check out Toy Story Land. Or perhaps enjoy one morning in Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park, have lunch in Epcot and then watch the evening fireworks in Magic Kingdom Park. There's a lot of flexibility with the Park Hopper Option!
Wishing you a magical first visit to the Walt Disney World Resort this Christmas!
