This will be our first time ever at Disney and we're thrilled. I'm having trouble getting into my character breakfast though- anything that can be done if it's all booked up?

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Lauren!

Disney dining is a huge part of a Walt Disney World Vacation. From enchanted Character experiences to signature dining, there is something magical about getting together for a meal with family and friends at Disney!

Lauren, Character Dining is a popular choice for families visiting the most magical place on earth. Reservations do book up early, and availability is limited. But like Timon and Pumbaa like to say, Hakuna Matata! If at first you don’t see reservation availability for the restaurant, date, and time that you are hoping to enjoy, don’t give up! Guests often change plans as their vacation dates get closer and availability will pop up. I’ve been able to find last minute reservations for some of the most sought-after restaurants on property by continuing to check, especially during that 24-28-hour window before my desired dates.

May I also suggest booking a “plan B” option? I’ve been known to do this and end up falling in love with what I thought was a second choice. With so many fantastic dining options, even your second choice can be a magical experience.

Sending you advanced dining reservation pixie dust that you are able to reserve the magical character dining that is on your wish list! Thanks for stopping by and we hope to see you again real soon!
