THis is my first time ever at Disney! I have 2 children 13 and 11! I have no clues about dining with them???? WE are not staying at a resort, we will be staying at a house in Kissimee. We are going for 11 days starting March 30/2010! Any suggestions?

Hi Shannon!  What a great trip planned for your children!  I am sure they are getting more and more excited as it gets closer.

You should definitely plan on some dining reservations for your trip.  The table service locations book up quickly and many might be booked now so please don't delay and check for some times for your family.

My first suggestion would be to plan out your days for your vacation.  I realize things can change and that is fine as you can cancel but it will give you a plan to work with.  Decide what days you will be visiting parks or any other part of the resort and check out the dining opportunities for each location.  You can do that by clicking HERE.  Read through the descriptions of the restaurants and decide which ones might interest your family.  I suggest you make one reservation for each day you are at Disney and then supplement the other meals with quick service or in your situation dining at your vacation home.  Remember to check-out the resort locations as well as the park ones as you can leave a park to dine and then return to the park later.  This will also give you a chance to visit new resorts that you might want to return to for a future vacation.

When you have made a plan with a dining selection for each day then head to the website to make on-line reservations by clicking HERE or call the dining number direct. 407-939-3463.

Keep your reservation number handy and if your plans change during your trip you can simply call the dining number above to cancel.  Always be sure and arrive at the restaurants about 15 minutes before your set time.  Enjoy and hopefully you can try some new and different dining spots through Walt Disney World!
