This is our first time and to DW we're not sure if we want to stay 6 or 7 nights, would it be cheaper to book the 6 nights and then once we get there and decided to add the seventh night? Or should we just book the 7 nights when i make the reservation?

Hi, Rebekah!   Without question, book all 7 nights of your vacation up front if you really want that 7th night.   Disney Resorts are very popular destinations and are often booked to capacity.    If you wait until check-in to add the 7th night, you may find your resort has no availability for that last night or if there is room, you might have to change rooms to be accommodated.

I suggest mapping out what you plan to do, ticket type, parks, etc. to see how much time you will need to experience all the magic and use that as your guide to pick how many nights to stay.     I think as a first time visitor, you will find plenty to keep you busy for 7 nights, but choose what you think will suit your family the best.  Good luck deciding!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is sailing with Disney Cruise Line, running (or cheering!) at runDisney events, taking hula lessons at Aulani, or vacationing at the Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. I am proud to be a part of the planDisney team and cannot wait to share my tips and advice for a magical vacation
