this is our first time going to duisney with kids - 1 and 3 year old. Should we stay in a one room suite so we can put the babies down earlier -- in a regular room it would be lights off for the whole family -- what do you think? thx for your help

Oh Christine! I have been there! Our last vacation was with an almost 2 year old and a 4 year old. We were in a regular room at the All Star Movie Resort. And my husband and I were so concerned that we'd be staring at the ceiling while the kids were asleep. We even contemplated bringing DVDs and split headphones so we could watch movies on the computer.

Alas, we were so tired, we fell asleep within minutes of the kids! Our kids are the type that get up early regardless of what time they go to sleep, so it worked well for us.

There were definitely times I wish we could have watched television or at least washed my face without tiptoeing to the bathroom. But it wasn't as much of a hassle as we thought it would be. And we were there for 14 days!!

Of course, a suite would have been easier. It was definitely tight in there and a little crowded by the time our stuff got strewn from hither to yon after a week in that room! But the cost wasn't worth it to us at the time. So, it's up to you! Just weigh the pros and cons and see what you can do!

Whatever you decide, it will be a magical vacation!
