Hi Eric!
Thanks for your question and for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
Advance Dining Reservations (ADRs) are an important part of your
Walt Disney World vacation planning...especially if, like me, you LOVE to eat!! And depending on WHERE you like to eat, making ADRs can be a critical part of ensuring that you are able to dine there. Some
Disney dining locations, especially those with
Character Dining or Signature Dining, have become so popular that they literally fill up in minutes even 180 days out.
That said, it is important for you to know that booking for a group your size is not able to be done online. Large groups need to call (407) WDW-DINE to book reservations. UNLESS you are willing to divide up your party into two or more groups just for meals....then you can book on your own online.
My suggestion would be to try to break into smaller groups and book as many of your ADRs as you can online as you are able to log in one hour earlier than calling. Online reservations begin at 6 AM EST versus calling at 7 AM EST.
Then, whatever you are not able to book online, I would call at 7 AM and see if the Cast Member on the phone can help with any issues you may have encountered.
But I would absolutely book as much as possible online unless it is important that the group dine all together.
I hope this helps and I wish you a Magical trip!!
Chris
