Hey there Amanda and welcome to planDisney!
Congratulations on your first visit to the Walt Disney World Resort! I'm so excited for you. This is such a special time for you and I'm so glad that I get to be a guide for you on this new adventure. Follow your Fairy GodTaylor and I'll tell you everything I've learned about how to plan your first foray into this Disney life.
First things first, if you haven't already, go ahead and purchase your
Theme Park Tickets and make your
Theme Park Reservations via the Disney Park Pass System. You won't be able to enter the Theme Parks without both of these steps in the process. I went ahead and took a glance at the
Theme Park Reservation Availability Calendar and it looks like both
Disney's Hollywood Studios and
Magic Kingdom Park are both at capacity already for all 3 days of your trip. But don't worry we may still be able to get you to all 4 parks with faith, trust, and a little bit of pixie dust. You'll want to:
1. Choose the Park Hopper Option when purchasing Theme Park Tickets. This will give you the ability to start at one park in the morning and switch to a different park as early as 2 PM.
2. Get up early so you can experience all the first park has to offer before switching to your next park.
3. Make Theme Park Reservations for
EPCOT for 2 days and
Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park for 1. You should then attempt to hop to Magic Kingdom Park for an evening, Disney's Hollywood Studios for an evening, and still spend an evening at EPCOT. Magic Kingdom Park and EPCOT both have nighttime spectaculars that you won't want to miss.
4.
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party at Magic Kingdom Park has dates on October 10th,11th, and 13th. Guests without tickets will need to leave by 6 PM and there will be no fireworks for regular day Guests that evening. Choose your Magic Kingdom Park accordingly.
Amanda, I hope I've been able to help you today. It's my deepest wish that everything goes smoothly. If you have any other questions, please feel free to
come back for another chat!
Happy planning!
Taylor
