Hiya, Olivia!
I am SO excited for you and your family to visit the Happiest Place on Earth! Have you seen the awesome
ticket offer for Southern California residents? Also, don’t forget to ask a Cast Member for complimentary “1st Visit” buttons for your family!
I can relate to your situation, since I have my 3, 5, and 7 year old with me when I visit the parks. I bring a double stroller, and you’re absolutely right, even the
7 year old asks to sit in it! Strollers larger than 36” x 52” and wagons
aren’t permitted. If your stroller doesn’t meet the size requirement,
you can rent one or two single jogging-style strollers near the main entrance to Disneyland Park, or rent a double stroller through City Stroller Rentals. I have seen stroller wagons inside the parks, and I haven’t seen any turned away at security checkpoints. However, my fellow panelist, Anna,
has seen a stroller wagon denied entry. So, I recommend playing it safe and bringing, or renting, a stroller.
There are some great options for resting at the parks, including a ride on the Disneyland Monorail, Disneyland Railroad, or “it’s a small world". My kids and I also enjoy taking in shows like Mickey and the Magical Map, Storytelling at Royal Theatre, and Disney Junior Dance Party!
Here’s to your first Disneyland Resort vacation… and many, many more!
