First time Disneyland visitor for my daughter and myself. Was wondering how to book a princess experience?

Royal greetings, Brittany, and thanks for bringing your question to planDisney!

First off, I’m so excited for you and your daughter to experience your first visit to the Happiest Place on Earth! Be sure to ask a Cast Member for a “First Visit” button – you can find one at City Hall in Disneyland Park, or at Chamber of Commerce in Disney California Adventure Park. Cast Members and Characters will love celebrating this special first visit with you both!

Now, let’s help you make some pixie-dusted princess plans! It sounds like your Mouseketeer would like to receive a magical makeover at the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique at the Disneyland Resort during your October visit. Unfortunately, the Boutique hasn’t reopened for royal transformations just yet. However, we recently heard the news that the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique will be offering makeovers again later this year. So, there’s a chance this could happen before your visit! I recommend keeping an eye on the Disney Parks Blog so you don’t miss this exciting news when it comes out!

While we await this news, I'm happy to report that the Boutique is currently open for shopping, offering an assortment of costumes, accessories, and souvenirs fit for royalty! So, even if the Boutique isn’t offering makeovers by your October trip, you and your daughter can still embark on a royal shopping spree. Plus, you can also ask a Fairy Godmother-in-training or a Coachman at the shop for a sprinkling of pixie dust – it’s the perfect dose of magic for your Disney day!

Speaking of princesses, just a few steps away from the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique, you’ll find the ideal spot for your princess fan – Fantasy Faire! Here, your daughter can meet Disney Princesses inside Royal Hall, and enjoy live storytelling performances at Royal Theatre

Last but not least, for the ultimate red-carpet princess experience at the Disneyland Resort, I recommend checking out Disney Princess Breakfast Adventures at Napa Rose, located inside Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa. This Character Dining experience includes an unforgettable 3-course breakfast, along with special encounters with favorite Disney Princesses. You can book this experience up to 60 days in advance.

I hope this information helps with your princess planning, Brittany! Please stop back with any additional questions… we’re all EARs!

    Wishing you pixie-dusted adventures,
    Kristin

Greetings from sunny California! I live less than an hour from the Disneyland Resort, and have been an Annual Passholder (and now a Magic Key Passholder) for more than 20 years! As a mom of three kids ages 5-10, I consider myself an expert at navigating the Disneyland Resort with little ones. My family of five can’t get enough of the magic and happiness we encounter every time we step foot on Main Street, U.S.A. I look forward to sprinkling pixie dust on your next visit to the Happiest Place on Earth! Learn More About Kristin
