Hello, It will be our first time in DisneyLand (california). We only have one day and our kids are almost 3 and 5 1/2 years old. Which park would be better for our family. Disneyland or CA adventure park? Thank you!

Greetings, Karine! I am so excited that you and your family are planning your first visit to the Disneyland Resort! This trip is sure to be full of memories that will last a lifetime.

If you want to focus on one park during your visit, I suggest spending your time in Disneyland Park. This park features a multitude of attractions that the whole family can ride, fabulous dining options, and no trip to the Disneyland Resort would be complete without a picture in front of Sleeping Beauty Castle! If your youngest is under 40" tall, there are plenty of attractions without height restrictions he/she can ride with you. For your older child, measure his/her height before you arrive and research the height requirements for different attractions. If you happen to stay into the nighttime hours, you can enjoy the Main Street Electrical Parade and the Remember...Dreams Come True Fireworks Spectacular (if you happen to be visiting on a weekend).

If you think you might want to enjoy both parks in one day, purchase park hopper tickets. Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park are just footsteps away from each other, so hopping back and forth is a breeze! And it's totally feasible to visit both parks in one day and explore everything the Disneyland Resort has to offer.

    Happy planning!
