this will be my first time at Disney World I want to know how does the standard dining plan work out I understand there is one quick service 1sit down dinner and also a snack. how would I need to use the plan if I plan on eating breakfast lunch and dinner

    Hi Renee!

We've traveled on the Disney Dining Plan many times, and have been able to eat breakfast, lunch and dinner using our entitlements available.

Typically, we use our snack credits for our breakfast meal.  Muffins, and yogurt count as snacks on the plan, and can be filling.  We almost always plan on a earlier lunch after our light breakfast, and seem to do fine, even with kids in tow.

If you're concerned about the amount of food you'll need, you can always pack some snacks from home to supplement.  Granola and breakfast bars travel well, and are easily eaten on the go.  We've also been known to split entrees at Quick Service dining locations, as we find the portion sizes quite large (especially for breakfast).  In the end, budgeting those entitlements is very important, so make sure you keep up with your receipts, as they will tell you the remaining balance.

    Have a magical vacation!
