This is our first time to Disney World, it will be 2 adults and 1 child she is 5 years old. where is the best place to stay, that has thing to do at the resort. also are any of the resorts in walking distance to downtown disney and board walk?

    Greetings Betty!
Bringing your little princess to the Walt Disney World Resort for the first time can be an overwhelming experience. You are on the right track beginning your planning with Resort hotel selection. I want to assure you that every resort on Disney property is well-themed, immaculate, and full of magic. There are actually five different levels of accommodations at the Walt Disney World Resort: Campgrounds, Value, Moderate, Deluxe, and Deluxe Villas. Only Deluxe and Deluxe Villas are within walking distance to any of the Parks or Downtown Disney.

Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa, which is a Disney Vacation Club property, has a walkway connecting it to the Downtown Disney area. When it comes to proximity to the Disney’s Boardwalk area, nothing can beat Disney’s BoardWalk InnDisney’s Yacht Club and Disney's Beach Club Resorts are also an easy walk to the Boardwalk area. They also share one of the most splash-tasic pool areas in all of the Walt Disney World Resort- Stormalong Bay. All three of these Resorts are also within walking distance to Epcot.

I want to urge you to take some time to peruse the website and research the many Resort choices. I'm positive there is one that be a perfect fit for your family. Happy planning and don’t hesitate to come back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with any other questions you might have.

    See ya real soon!
