    First time to Disney staying@CBR Pirate room in Sept.w/ 5&3yo.Worried about size.Wondering if I should change our room to request one closer to main area.Is it too far to walk from Trindad S?How often does the internal bus run?Location or room?HELP!!

    Hi Diana!

         The pirate rooms at Caribbean Beach are absolutely amazing - I have never seen such attention to detail!  That being said, they are a LOOOONG way from Old Port Royale, the food court/shopping area.  It is about a 10 minute walk, which depending on the heat, can be either pleasant or miserable!  However, the internal bus continuously circles the resort and is a great way to beat the heat.  It will circle through the resort twice, head to Old Port Royale and then start all over again.  You can bet on waiting approximately 20 minutes for the internal bus to arrive at the stop closest to your room.

         If this sounds like too much for your family, then why not try out one of the new Nemo themed rooms that are found throughout the rest of the resort?  The closest rooms are in the Preferred villages of Martinique and Trinidad North.  These rooms are the closest to  Old Port Royale, as well as the awesome new Pirate pool.  If you don't want to pay extra for a preferred location, then try Buildings 44-46 in Jamaica or 51-53 in Aruba.  These standard rooms do not cost any extra and are located across the water from all of the action.

         Bottom line, if your little ones are true pirate fans, the new rooms in Trinidad South are worth every penny.  If not, the new Nemo rooms are great and your babies will never know what they are missing!
