Hello! This is our first time at Disney. We plan on getting a 1 day 1 park pass. We are a family of four with two kids aged 8 and 10 years. The kids don’t like extreme thrill rides. What do you recommend we do on that day?

First, congratulations on your upcoming FIRST Walt Disney World Resort vacation; I am so excited for you and your family! The memories you will create will stick with you for years to come.

Because your little ones are not into thrill rides, I recommend Magic Kingdom Park, which has attractions your children will find enjoyable. When my kids were younger, they loved attractions like Tomorrowland Speedway, Under the Sea - Journey of the Little Mermaid, Peter Pan’s Flight, Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin, and Mickey’s PhilharMaigc, to name a few. However, if you and your family are Toy Story or Star Wars fans, a day at Disney’s Hollywood Studios is just the ticket. Attractions like Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway and Star Tours - The Adventure Continue are pretty tame. Each theme park contains enough to keep you busy for an entire day.
