It is our first time to Disney in Oct. We do not use in cooking or drink alchol and were wondering if at the Food & Wine Festival is the food also cooked with alchol? We are hoping to try some of the items but have to pass if alchol or wine used. Th

Some of the menu items do use alcohol in the preparation, Mary, but certainly not all of them.  Typically, you'll be able to tell just by reading the menu which items use one form of alcohol or another.  For instance, in Australia, you'll find the "grilled lamb chop with potato-goat cheese salad and Shiraz reduction."  Canada has the "maple and Moosehead-beer glazed salmon with barley salad".  Both of these examples clearly state an alcohol in the name.  Those should be easy enough to avoid.  Of course, when in doubt, do inquire at the counter whether any alcohol is used in the dish you're interested in tasting.  I've always found that the Cast Members working at the register are very knowledgeable about the preparation and ingredients in each of the featured dishes.  Happy tasting!
