Hello and welcome to
planDisney, Jasmin!
Thank you kindly for reaching out to planDisney and while I am happy to hear you were at
Walt Disney World Resort, I am sorry to hear that the weather was uncooperative, Jasmin – that’s the beauty and unpredictability of Florida weather, and that’s when we don our Mickey Mouse ponchos pack up our second pair of socks and enjoy the many indoor attractions, dining, and experiences at the theme parks.
Jasmin, I have never heard of a rain check during our visits to Walt Disney World Resort, and I must share that on my most recent visit back in November we were the recipients of the famous hurricane that came through. As a result of the parks closing completely for the safety of all Guests, our existing theme park tickets were extended to a future date for use as a one-time gesture of goodwill. This was our one-time experience, and it is not to say that this sort of act of goodwill happens regularly. If a theme park is operating and open, attraction availability is always subject to change pending the unpredictability of the weather. Therefore, my opinion, as a fellow Guest myself, I don’t think that you will be issued a rain check for any attractions or experiences that were closed while the theme park was open because of the weather. Jasmine, if you still feel ambivalent, I encourage you to contact the
Walt Disney World Resort – Help Center to discuss this matter further.
Jasmine, I couldn’t let you go without sharing
Disney Cruise Lines – Special Offer for Canadians (subject to change and availability) – have you sailed with Disney yet? We love
cruising with Disney as extensions to our land stays at Walt Disney World Resort and many visits to the Mediterranean and Northern Europe!
Thank you for consulting planDisney, we hope to see you back soon!
